The 2026 Startup World Cup Azerbaijan Regional Final
will take place on September 17 for the first time at SABAH.city.
A jury panel comprising local and international investors, as well as leading representatives of the innovation ecosystem will evaluate 100+ applications to select the Top 10 startups to take the stage on the final day.
Following the live pitching sessions at the final event, the jury will select the winner. The winning startup will earn the chance to represent Azerbaijan at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco this November.
Organized by SABAH.angels, the Startup World Cup Competition Azerbaijan Regional Final has been held annually since 2024. Every year, an average of more than 100 startups from Azerbaijan as well as Türkiye, Georgia, Central Asia, the Middle East and beyond apply to the competition.

Shortlisting (Top 10):
Jury panel selects the top 10 startups to pitch at the final event.
Regional Final (September 17, SABAH.city):
Finalist pitches and winner announcement.
Grand Finale (November, San Francisco):

The final event of this platform, which spans more than 100 regional competitions across dozens of countries, is the Grand Finale held in Silicon Valley. At this stage, regional winners compete for a $1,000,000 investment prize, while securing direct connections with high-profile investors and gaining access to global markets.
